The Inyathelo Resource Collection is part of Inyathelo’s efforts to deepen our knowledge and understanding of Advancement, leadership, philanthropy, good governance and capacity development and provide training tools and resources to ensure the sustainability of civil society in South Africa.
The library has an interdisciplinary collection of over 1000 books, journals and DVD’s related to civil society, higher education and philanthropy. Categories range from development, education, strategic planning, Advancement, philanthropy, non-profits, marketing and communication tools and much more. It also contains Inyathelo’s own publications such as the Attracting Support Kit for NPOs (ASK) as well as Effective Governance for Non-Profit Boards.
The collection is of particular interest to policy-makers, non-profit organisations, researchers’ practitioners and academics but also has significant appeal to anyone interested in learning about Advancement - the systematic and integrated approach to building and managing external relationships with key constituencies and stakeholders in order to attract support.
