Rees-Jones takes over the reins at Inyathelo - 17 March 2017 - Cape Times (First Edition)

THE South African Institute for Advancement, Inyathelo, announced the appointment of Jessica ReesJones as its new executive director from April 1. ReesJones takes over from acting executive director Nomfundo Walaza, renowned for her human rightsrelated work both in South Africa and internationally ReesJones's experience includes working as a specialist consultant to both the Graca Machel Trust and power producer Cennergi; and a position as chief executive of the Royal Bafokeng Nation Foundation. She was the foundation director and director of advancement for the Diocesan College in Cape Town (Bishops) and development director for Vista Nova School for children with special needs. ReesJones has obtained qualifications in nonprofit leadership and strategy from Stellenbosch University Inyathelo Board of Trustees chairperson Zenariah Barends said: "Inyathelo is at sational development and the helm of providing organi support services to an extensive array of civil society and related organisations. "I would like to thank our acting executive director Nomfundo Walaza for her insightful and effective leadership during her tenure.
